The French Bulldog Club of England
Championship Show - November 11th 2023
CRITIQUES BELOW
My first interest in French bulldogs started in the early eighties watching them whilst showing my original breed Cavaliers, as they shared the same day at Crufts.
I was lucky in 1989 to get my first Frenchie, a very handsome brindle, a Kingrock puppy and so from there began my long, delightful journey with this interesting and amusing breed.
In the mid-nineties, my first Laudernell litter arrived (all pied) producing Ch Laudernell White Heather and since then I have always had a small group of frenchies with me.
I have had a long history of been involved in some way with the Dog show ring, whether showing my frenchies or being involved with one of the breed clubs organising Club shows, or lecturing on the breed at Club Seminars, especially movement, also assessing new judges, or my great passion of painting and drawing this beautiful breed, there has always been something to keep me very interested.
I have been awarding CCs in frenchies since 2002 and have been very lucky to judge the breed around the world, from Europe to Australia and the USA, judging the French Bulldog Club of America Nationals and also their black-tie Top Twenty Award annual event.
I am delighted and honoured to be invited to judge the French Bulldog Club of England Championship show. I thank the committee for this invitation and greatly look forward to judging at this prestigious club’s event. I hope everyone that attends has a very enjoyable and memorable day.
