OCTOBER BREED APPRECIATION DAY
It’s time to get your books out and get reading up! The FBCE is planning to do a Breed Appreciation Day or B.A.D on Saturday 6th October 2024. This proved a huge sell out success for the club the last time we did it. It will be held at Weedon Village Hall, Weedon bec,Northampton, NN7 4QU.

Full day with MCE and lunch - £35
Hands on assessment for all full day candidates, plus A2 assessment available to limited numbers Great for those wanting to learn more about the history of our breed and a requirement for judges of all levels if they haven’t already done it or just fancy a refresher on the subject.
Even if you don’t want to judge, a Breed Appreciation Day is a wonderful opportunity to learn and understand more about this wonderful breed.
Any new/starter judge’s must have first met the following Level 1 criteria
in order to be eligible to sit the MCE (Multiple Choice Exam) for a breed:

- Minimum of five years proven interest in pedigree dogs
- Attend a Conformation and Movement seminar hosted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer
Attend a Requirements of a Dog Show Judge seminar and
pass associated exam (either in person or online via Kennel Club Academy)
Pass the Points of a Dog assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer - Complete a minimum of two full-day stewarding appointments
- Once all the above are complete you are eligible to judge up to three classes (four if one is a puppy class)
