I was brought up alongside Staffordshire Bull Terriers. You would find us playing or curled up asleep in my Wendy house, or to the horror of the folks, sneaking pups out the house to push them up and down the street in my pram! During a trip to Paris when I was 21, I first laid eyes on a French Bulldog and it was love at first sight. I vowed that once I owned my own home, I was getting one! A decade later Mouse entered and changed my life. After watching Dad show in the 80’s, I decided to give it a go and it wasn’t long before I got the bug. Mouse produced my Mini & Maverick who are now veterans and remain best mates. Mini is my heart dog and had a successful show career, winning BIS at 7 months old, Best Bitch at 3 club shows, BOB, CC & RCC. She went into produce my singleton golden egg, Mighty Mouse. Mighty will no doubt be my once in a lifetime show dog. My first home bred champion and I am so proud that all her 5 CCs and 6 RCCs have been awarded by Breed Specialist Judges. She has also won Best in Show at 3 of our 4 breed clubs. The FBCE has definitely been our lucky show, winning 3 Best Opposite Sex across the 3 shows as part of the Winter Weekender in 2021was definitely a highlight. It is therefore a club I hold dear to my heart, and I consider it a huge honour and a privilege to be invited to judge for the mother club in its 121st year. I would like to thank each and every one for your entry and allowing me to go over your precious dogs.
