SUMMER OPEN SHOW - SUNDAY 3RD JULY 2022

Jean Pratt (Khanin) - Main Classes
My love of dogs has been my lifetime. But in 1966 when I was introduced to my future husband’s parents I was to become hooked when two Great Danes appeared from the house. In 1973 we purchased a puppy from a ‘show’ breeder, our first introduction to showing. With our subsequent dogs we won CC’s and RCC’s although entries exceeded 200 at that time. My interest in this breed has never waned, I am President and committee member of the East of England Great Dane Club, and award CC’s, and have judged here and abroad.
A gift from a friend of a GSD puppy started me in obedience and other GSD’s followed. During this time I had a break from showing but stewarded regularly at several breed and general championship shows, including Crufts, now in my 27th year there, where I have been a steward for French Bulldogs twice.
My interest in French Bulldogs began 11 years ago when my daughter Michelle purchased a puppy and decided she would like to show, he grew too big, but it didn’t deter her and a bitch puppy of Jafrak breeding was purchased. From her first litter a dog was to be our first CC winner, gaining 2 CC’s, 2 RCC’s, top junior dog and a 1st in junior at Crufts under the prestigious judge Viktor Van Raamsdonk. Our dogs have achieved CC’s and RCC’s and many 1st at Championship level to date and we continue to strive, with hope,to do so in the future. My thanks go to the committee for this invitation with a breed I have come to love.

Teresa Scott (Amuelle) -
Bomlitz Special Awards Classes
In my youth, I was very active in the equestrian world and growing up we always had dogs.
It was later in life when I started actively showing.
Whilst out walking my late boxer I bumped into a small Frenchie and I fell in love instantly. I popped to Paignton Championship show shortly thereafter to cast my eye over the breed and to try find someone who might have pups. I purchased a fawn girl (she is now 11 years old) and started showing her, but she wasn’t too keen on it. I on the other hand enjoyed participating greatly and decided that moving forward I would like to breed myself a healthy show pup. After my first litter I kept a girl and a boy, Amuelle Madame Monique (gaining BPB @Crufts 2014) and Amuelle Monsieur Alphonse (gaining a RCC), who both had successes in the ring. Since then, I have gone on to improve the health and standard of my breeding with Amuelle Little Tom Thumb and my most successful girl Amuelle Little Miss Artemis (gaining 2x CC and 3x RCC). I have a passion for showing and want to support and give something back to the Frenchie community. Living so far down south AGMs are hard to get to, therefore judging was the clear choice. I have taken all the exams and with an equestrian background helping to identify movement, I feel this stands me in good stead to judge the Bomlitz special classes.
Thank you to the FBCE for inviting me to judge the special Bomlitz classes.
I look forward to going over all the wonderful Frenchies that you have been kind enough to enter under me.
